Tim Horn is an award-winning, California-based oil painter. Living in Fairfax, a small town in Northern California, Horn says that he is “drawn to the everyday scenes of the rural areas in Marin and Sonoma Counties.”

His body of work comprises paintings of rusty old trucks, homey cottages, and sun-filled pastures, all which play with light and shadow. He says he creates what he sees—“paintings that feel 100% me.” Horn also taught an oil painting workshop in Charleston last week, the artist’s first visit to the Holy City.
